Anytime a movie has the Eiffel Tower, for example, you sing out \u2018been there\u2019 and have a drink.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Gentium Book Basic', serif; font-size: medium; color: #000080;\">This is, of course, strictly a home game as consumption of recreational intoxicants plus being loudly smug in a movie theatre is actively discouraged.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Gentium Book Basic', serif; font-size: medium; color: #000080;\">New York, however, is the first place I\u2019ve ever been to where it seems every street, every building and every park has &#8216;been there\u2019 in a movie or tv show.\u00a0 I swear on our first day there I nearly dislocated my neck several times\u00a0 swivelling around to stare at a cafe or a store <img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright  wp-image-802\" alt=\"P1040189 - Version 2\" src=\"http:\/\/sermonsinstones.blaseckie.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/P1040189-Version-2.jpg\" width=\"336\" height=\"190\" \/>front or even a freaking tree in front of an apartment. Didn\u2019t I see that street in\u2026I\u2019m sure that\u2019s the park where\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Gentium Book Basic', serif; font-size: medium; color: #000080;\">There was a park near our BnB that reminded me of the \u201cPanic in Needle Park\u201d park. I don\u2019t know what the locals call it but every morning on the way to the subway, all I could think of was a cocker spaniel puppy and the Staten Island ferry. If you&#8217;ve ever seen the movie, you\u2019ll know what I mean. If you haven&#8217;t seen it, ah, may I suggest &#8220;When Harry Met Sally&#8221;.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Gentium Book Basic', serif; font-size: medium; color: #000080;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-800 alignleft\" alt=\"P1040209\" src=\"http:\/\/sermonsinstones.blaseckie.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/P1040209.jpg\" width=\"288\" height=\"216\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Gentium Book Basic', serif; font-size: medium; color: #000080;\">Instead of playing been there, it was \u201cthat\u2019s that place, you know in that movie, I think it was Woody Allen\u2019s \u2026.\u201d.\u00a0 Or, more likely, \u201cI\u2019m sure I saw this place in CSI Whatever or NYPD Blue or was it Castle\u2026hey, sweetheart?
